Our aim is to show you and your pony / your horse from the best side. We spend a corresponding amount of time in selecting the images to reach this goal - not every picture finds its way into our photo pages.

Joy has come back ... SAVE CLIFDEN SHOW

About 30 riders who had traveled to participate at Clifden Show and more than 100 visitors met at Omey Beach in beautiful weather to demonstrate for maintainance of Clifden Show.

Their competitions were canceled due to a supposed severe weather warning on site and postponed to another venue at the end of September. In fact, the new board is tearing Clifden Show apart with pretextual arguments to relocate it, as they say. The majority of the participants don’t want these changes. Clifden Show isn't perfect, but that's exactly what adds to its flair. If you go to Clifden, for sure you don't expect an FEI event ...    

Opener of the debate was the unsuitable - and, as they say - uninsurable ground in the collecting ring, and the loose jumping competitions were relocated at the mart already. John Sweeney states that the ground at the mart is exactly the same as in the collecting ring.

SAVE CLIFDEN SHOW

Call in the shop windows of Clifden's shop owners to preserve Clifden Show, as abstruse and apparently little thought-through decisions by the current CPBS Council give a large number of participants the impression that the time-honored event should take place at a different location in the future.
